The Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification on 16th January 2025 being Notification No. 07/2025- Central Tax (Rate) giving a major relief to the composition dealers for paying tax on reverse charge mechanism.
Major relief to composition dealers
The notification announces major relief to composition dealers for paying tax on reverse charge mechanism on rent from unregistered persons and for services provided by way of sponsorship.
