SBI TTBR Rates – Monthly Snapshot
This section presents the State Bank of India (SBI) Telegraphic Transfer Buying Rates (TTBR) for major foreign currencies – USD, GBP, and EUR – compiled on the last day of each month. These rates are widely used for:
- Determining foreign exchange gains/losses
- Income tax calculations for NRIs and resident taxpayers
- Financial reporting under Indian accounting standards
The use of SBI TTBR is guided by provisions under: Rule 26 (for salary income), Rule 115 (general conversion for foreign income), and Rule 115A (specific to non-residents and foreign companies).
